Cyber Security Consultants - Brussels, Belgium
Competitive Daily Rate - 12 Month Contract - Start ASAP
We are working with a software consultancy who has a large project with a well known organisation in Belgium.
They have a requirement for an experienced Cyber Security Architect (and also two Cyber Security Engineers). You will be designing, building, and implementing enterprise-class security systems for our client's network and infrastructure. The role involves understanding our client's business requirements and designing security measures to safeguard their information.
Architect Responsibilities:
- Develop a strategic security architecture vision, including standards and frameworks that are aligned with overall business strategy.
- Implement security systems by specifying intrusion detection methodologies and equipment; directing equipment and software installation and calibration; preparing preventive and reactive measures; creating, transmitting, and maintaining keys; providing technical support; completing documentation.
- Verify security systems by developing and implementing test scripts.
- Maintain security by monitoring and ensuring compliance with standards, policies, and procedures; conducting incident response analyses; developing and conducting training programs.
- Upgrade security systems by monitoring security environment; identifying security gaps; evaluating and implementing enhancements.
- Prepare system security reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Architect Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cyber Security Architect or similar role in cybersecurity.
- Professional security management certification, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other similar credentials, is desired.
- Proficient in security architecture design and security management.
- Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and network/web related protocols.
- Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods.
- Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically.
Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or similar role.
- Hands-on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
- Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols.
- Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
